After two years of helping to lead this incredible organization, I passed the gavel to our next Mayor in December. I can’t thank you all enough for the opportunity to serve. It has honestly meant more to me than I can express in words. I’m a public servant to my core and I absolutely love this city.
As I left the seat, I was proud to issue an outgoing “state of the City” report. Santa Rosa’s employees are phenomenal and I’ve been grateful to work with each and every one of you. Thank you to my friends and family, to Sarah especially. It’s impossible to do this job well without it impacting your home life, and those closest to me have allowed me to give this city everything I have over the last two years.
I have two years left on my term as a Councilmember and look forward to continuing to work hard for the people I work for, and to provide whatever support the next Mayor needs. If they are successful, our City will be successful.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
